Join our shared recording sessions – the most cost-effective way to add strings to your song or record music for film or TV.
Great musicians and studio time can be expensive. That’s why we offer batch recordings, where you simply book the time and players you need — and nothing more. At Mobula Music, we work with our own ensemble, Nordic Film Strings — a team of professional musicians ready to deliver the sound you’re looking for.
1. Dialogue
Once you have booked a slot at one of our group recording sessions, the process always begins with a conversation about your vision. The better we understand your goals and intentions, the better the final result.
2. Creative process
In this phase, the music you wish to record is created. If you want us to assist with arranging or composing new music, this is where the creative phase begins. We create a demo of our idea and refine it together until we agree on the final result.
3. Source material
Before recording, all material must be fully prepared. This includes sheet music for the musicians, tracks, and any audio or video files. We set up the project in the studio using the required technical tools (click track, streamers) and carefully check all materials for errors that could delay the session.
4. Recording
When it’s time to record, you are given your own dedicated slot where we focus exclusively on your material. Many clients choose to be present as the producer, but this is not required. Our experienced team leads the entire process safely and efficiently from start to finish.
